Dr Emily Rodrigo
Dr Emily Rodrigo joins the team at Carnegie Medical Centre in February 2024, as a GP registrar.
Emily studied medicine at Monash University and graduated in 2019. She has since worked at Eastern Health for 3 years in Paediatrics, Aged Care, Emergency, Psychiatry, General Medicine, and General Surgery. She has also completed 6-month GP placements at Cranbourne East Medical Centre and Upper Beaconsfield GP Practice.
Emily is interested in providing healthcare to patients of all ages and from all walks of life. She has special interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health including subdermal contraceptive implant (Implanon) insertion, Sexual Health and Preventive medicine.
Emily is currently our General Practice Registrar and is looking forward to the variety and opportunities for continuing care that general practice offers.
Outside of medicine, Emily’s interests include playing football and netball, reading, travelling, and cooking.
Dr Emily Rodrigo will be consulting at Carnegie Medical Centre from the 5th of February 2024.
