We are very proud to announce that Dr Niroshe Amarasekera has been chosen to receive RACGP’s award for Victorian General Practice Supervisor of the Year 2019. Dr Niroshe has always been passionate about medical education and has worked with medical students at Monash University and The University of Melbourne, as well as GP Registrars through Eastern Victoria GP Training (EVGPT). In 2018 Dr Niroshe was awarded EVGPT Supervisor of the Year Metropolitan, and this most recent award through RACGP is a further acknowledgement of her ongoing commitment to contributing to the education of the next generation of General Practitioners.
